E3: Ezio returns in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

The fourth installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, this game is also being called “Brotherhood 2″ by some fans. Revelations will close the book on Ezio Auditore’s long adventure and will give answers and a insight in the history and mythos of Assassin’s Creed. The game will feature the return of Ezio who’s a lot older now, and one Altair who will also be playable.

Ezio, now over 50 years of age and a master assassin,  is in search of seals left by his ancestor and fellow assassin Altair. When you find a seal, you will have a flashback and be able to play as Altair. The game is set around 8 years after Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood so it’s safe to assume it’s around 1511 or so. The game will take place in cities such as Constantinople and Cappadocia.

There are going to be new features to this game including a hookblade which can be used in combat or as a zipwire to move around the city. Leonardo will return to help you make new gadgets including 300 bombs. Eagle Vision has changed to Eagle Sense – his will allow you to see the paths guards take and plan a trap or a ambush in accordance.

Instead of side missions there will be “random events” which you can take up. Also, your Brotherhood of Assassins level cap has increased to 15 from 10. This game will have online multiplayer which we first saw in Brotherhood.
