I would rather fox asked fans to put up the money to fund the show, like someone else said we could donate the money to fox on the condition that they spend all the money on the show. Fans however dont own the show or the rights to the show in any way.

Perhaps even get a company/s to sponsor each episode in return for tv advertising for that company.

Anyone know how much it costs to create an episode of Terminator (average)?

A DVD/BlueRay release would usually be a series of feature length episodes over the time, right? I don’t see how the Terminator franchise would want to have this arround to compete with the T4 movie, the prospective T5, T6 and the disc releases of these.

I think this is the actual reason why T:SCC was poorly promoted, sent to the Friday Death Slot and ultimately put to sleep — despite the fact that the show developed strongly by the end of season 2 and anyone could see its high potential to attract more viewers in a third season. The franchise has simply shifted it’s focus to the new generation of Terminator movies. No need for a T:SCC that the TV audience has grown to love for good reasons. That’s why the Fox executives “ultimately decided” against renewal of T:SCC. Viewer ratings, viewer shmatings!

But, why worry about DVD sales?

A subscription based website would allow us to pay enough for monthly installments of new episodes.
That would be better than a one time DVD.

We loyally watch Fox Networks programmes, then they just drop them. I’m not ever going to watch a Fox show again, because all they do is cheat you.
