BBC One’s “MERLIN”, which stars Richard Wilson, Anthony Head and John Hurt, pulled in 6.65 mil viewers for its opening episode. The show will air on NBC from January. The numbers are respectably good, especially considering its place against ITV’s The X Factor (9.26 mil). Expect a second series to be announced shortly for next year.
